- Family Art Center displaying student artwork from all the La Jolla schools and providing crafting opportunities for all children and their families
- Wine & Beer Garden with increased capacity to offer more tasting and fine food from local restaurants
- Food Court expanded to include more local restaurants and to offer a grassy seating area for dining
- Larger stage to accommodate great entertainment
- Festival now open from 11am to 6pm
- A special $15 two-day admission pass
- More frequent shuttle service to and from parking less than one mile from the LJAWF site
